Two leaders from MidLantic Urology will now spearhead clinical research across the Solaris Health platform.

As National Director of Clinical Research, Laurence Belkoff, DO, MSc. FACOS, will help strengthen clinical research departments within our affiliates – enhancing those that already exist and helping to develop new ones.

In addition to his Solaris Health role, Dr. Belkoff is a physician with and serves on the Executive Committee of MidLantic Urology in Greater Philadelphia. He was recently named the 2022 recipient of the Guy D. Beaumont Jr. FACOS Award for his outstanding leadership and excellence in improving the quality of osteopathic education. 

Cheryl Zinar, RN, BSN, Clinical Director of Research at MidLantic Urology (MLU), has also earned a new title: National Director of Clinical Research Operations for Solaris Health. In this new, expanded role, she will work collaboratively with the Solaris Research Core Committee made up of Dr. Larry Belkoff; Dr. Jason Hafron (MIU), Dr. Marc Pliskin (TUG) and Clinical Directors Danielle Osterhout (MLU) and Bill Corbett (TUG). The committee’s focus is to develop a more robust research practice and portfolio for all of Solaris. By engaging affiliates in research and helping onboard new affiliates who are interested in offering research as a treatment option at their sites, patients will benefit.
