Frequently Asked Questions

Here are some answers to questions you may have:

1. Why have I been redirected to MidLanticUrology.com from academicurology.com, urologicconsultsepa.com, or uhurology.com?

Academic Urology, Urologic Consultants of Southeastern Pennsylvania, and Urology Health Specialists are now MidLantic Urology. You are still able to pay your bill, make an appointment, fill out patient forms, look up physicians and more on the MidLantic Urology website.

2. Will my doctor or medical office staff change?

No. You may continue seeing your existing provider(s) for as long as you like. If you wish to change providers at any point, simply visit our website at midlanticurology.com/providers to see a full listing of our providers.

3. Is my doctor moving to another office location?

No. Your physician and other medical providers will continue to treat patients at his/her current location. No office locations have changed and our surgery privileges with local hospitals will continue uninterrupted. For a full listing of our locations, please visit midlanticurology.com/locations.

4. Who will my bill come from/who do I pay?

Your bills will continue to be sent as normal and you will continue to pay MidLantic Urology or any of our third-party providers as you always have. Check online to see if your MidLantic Urology location allows for online bill pay.

5. Will MidLantic Urology still accept my insurance?

Our insurance contracts with major carriers will remain in place. As always, please check with your physician’s office if you have questions about coverage for a specific procedure or treatment.

6. Will the costs for services increase?

Our merger has no bearing on the cost of services provided. We participate in most health insurance plans. Your co-pay and co-insurance will be determined by your participating plan.
