Dr. Dakwar earned his bachelors in Chemical Biology at Stevens Institute of Technology. He completed his medical degree at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey - New Jersey Medical School, where he also completed his residency in Urology in 2008. He pursued further training in Urologic Oncology during a Fellowship at New York University. Dr. Dakwar has distinguished himself as a Urologic Oncologist, with expertise in bladder, prostate, kidney and testicular cancers. He works in conjunction with a highly trained group of medical and radiation oncologists. He has additional interests in stone disease and urinary obstruction such as BPH. He is proficient in laparoscopic, robotic and endourologic minimally invasive surgery. He has been practicing in Delaware County since 2009. Dr. Dakwar is board certified by the American Urologic Association (AUA) and he is an active member of the AUA. He is involved in educating and training medical students from nearby medical schools. He has published several articles specifically in the areas of prostate cancer. Dr. Dakwar is currently on staff at Chester Crozer Medical Center, Taylor Hospital, Springfield Hospital and Riddle Memorial Hospital.
