MidLantic Urology, with 58 specially-trained urologists and 20 advanced practice providers, is led by an executive leadership team focused on positive patient outcomes.

Michael Hagg, MD, Market President

Dr. Hagg is Market President of MidLantic Urology and Chairman of the Board of MidLantic Urology.  He also serves as Chief of Urology for Main Line Health, on the executive committee of the Lankenau Oncologic Initiative, and assists as co-director for the American Cancer Society’s Prostate Cancer Support Group at Lankenau Hospital.

The Market President is a key physician administrator for the organization who works with the COO and other leadership in directing the organization’s goals and objectives for improved clinical and operational performance.

Dr. Hagg has been a board-certified urologist since 2000. He sees patients at MidLantic Urology’s Wynnewood and Broomall locations. Dr. Hagg received his undergraduate degree from Cornell University and his medical degree from Hahnemann University Medical School. He completed a surgical internship residency and a urology residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania.

Jon Mackler
Chief Operating Officer, MPA, FACHE

Jon Mackler serves as the Chief Operating Officer of MidLantic Urology. He is a healthcare executive with a strong track record of operations management, strategic planning and business development, staff and leadership development, employee engagement, and patient experience initiatives.

Prior to joining MidLantic Urology, Jon served in a dual role as Chief Administrative and Strategy Officer for Advocare, a 600 provider multi-specialty physician group in NJ and PA. His experience spans large multi-specialty physician groups, acute care hospitals, post-acute care and consulting services. Other leadership positions held were Chief Operating Officer, Advanced Orthopedics and Sports Medicine Institute; VP/Operations, Kennedy Health System; Vice President/Administration and System Vice President for Market Strategy & Business Development, Kessler Institute for Rehabilitation; and Administrator, Westchester Medical Center.

Jon holds a Master of Public Administration in Health Policy and Management from New York University’s Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service and a Bachelor of Health Education from Temple University. He is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives. Jon has served on numerous boards. As a Pennsylvania native, he worked as a Paramedic/Supervisor at the original Montgomery Hospital for seven years.

Steven Krefetz, PhD, MBA, CP
Vice President of Operations

Steven has a PhD in Educational Leadership and Administration from Capella University along with three master’s degrees: Master of Business Administration from Louisiana State University, a Master of Science in Education from Capella University, and a Master of Science in Perfusion Technology from Drexel University College of Medicine. He has a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Widener University.

He is MidLantic Urology’s Vice President of Operations. He also has experience working in operations for two other health organizations and has held a position as physician advocate.

Kevin Binns, CPA, MBA
Controller

Kevin joined MidLantic in 2021 after four years as finance manager at Vanguard. He also has worked extensively as an auditor and financial reporting manager for six years. Kevin has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from Temple University and a Master of Business Administration from Pennsylvania State University.

Suzanne Brogan, SHRM-SCP
Director of Human Resources

Suzanne joined MidLantic in 2022, bringing with her 20 years of experience in human resources from UHS, Abington Hospital, and Precyse Solutions.

Suzanne has extensive HR management and leadership experience within several healthcare-related organizations. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and master’s degree in HR Management. She is a Senior Certified Professional through the Society for Human Resources Management.
