Education and Background

Dr. Gaynor received her undergraduate degree at Babson College in Wellesley, MA, and her medical degree at Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine in her home state of Florida. She completed her general surgery residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, and her urology residency at Cook County Hospital/Midwestern University in Chicago.

Following the completion of her urology training, Dr. Gaynor pursued a fellowship in female pelvic medicine and reconstruction as well as male and female voiding dysfunction and neurourology at The University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.

Dr. Gaynor has a uro-gynecology education appointment to train the residents at Lankenau Medical Center in urinary incontinence, overactive bladder of men and women, urinary tract infections, pelvic pain, interstitial cystitis, vaginal prolapse and sexual dysfunction including vaginal dryness also known as vaginal atrophy or atrophic vaginitis.

State-of-the-art treatments are offered by Dr. Gaynor in her areas of specialty. She offers the most current techniques available for managing female pelvic floor disorders and the latest minimally invasive procedures available for the treatment of female urinary incontinence and vaginal vault prolapse. She has also trained other urologists, residents, and gynecologists on state-of-the-art surgical techniques and the most recent therapies and medications available for treatment.
