Prostate Health
Located just below the bladder in men, the prostate surrounds the top portion of the tube that drains urine from the bladder (urethra). Its primary function is to produce the fluid that nourishes and transports sperm (seminal fluid).
Even when working normally, the prostate in most men tends to grow as they age. That can introduce issues like Benign (non-cancerous) Prostatic Hyperplasia or enlarged prostate, as well as prostate cancer. Our physicians treat all aspects of prostate health.
