Education and Background
Dr. Friel completed his undergraduate studies at Villanova University and earned his medical degree from Rutgers, Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. He completed his urology residency at the University of Pennsylvania Health System, including the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia
He has special interests in robotic and minimally invasive approaches to prostate cancer and kidney cancer, as well as management of kidney stones, BPH, erectile dysfunction, and urinary incontinence.
