Dean Laganosky, M.D.
Education and Background
Dr. Laganosky is committed to providing personalized and compassionate care to his patients with expertise over a broad range of urologic conditions. He has received recognition as a national SpaceOAR Center of Excellence provider for prostate radiation therapy management.
A native of Wilmington, DE, he completed his undergraduate training at Haverford College near Philadelphia. He received his medical doctorate from Jefferson Medical College where he was the recipient of numerous accolades including induction into the Hobart Amory Hare Honor Society and Gold Humanism Honor Society. He completed his residency training at Emory University in Atlanta. While at Emory, he received the prestigious William H. Cooner Award, presented to the individual who best exemplifies compassion in patient care delivery. He is dedicated to providing comprehensive urologic care with a humanistic focus.

In November 2023 Dr. Laganosky became the first U.S. urologist to implant the BioProtect balloon spacer to enhance safety for men undergoing radiation therapy for prostate cancer. Learn more.
Dr. Laganosky also is part of MidLantic Urology’s SpaceOAR Center of Excellence group. SpaceOAR Hydrogel is a rectal spacer that can be used in patients receiving radiation for prostate cancer to help minimize unwanted side effects.
