Gregory C. McMahon, D.O.
Education and Background
Dr. McMahon received his undergraduate degree from Springfield College, followed by a pre-med internship at the National Institutes of Health. He earned his medical degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He then completed a urologic oncology fellowship at Yale University after completing his residency training at Rowan University/Jefferson Health where he served as the chief resident his final year. Dr. McMahon has received recognition as a national SpaceOAR Center of Excellence provider for prostate radiation therapy management.
Dr. McMahon specializes in treating cancers of the genitourinary tract and is skilled in both robotic and open surgery as well as ablative technologies for prostate cancer. His practice focuses on treating complex malignancies such as prostate, kidney, bladder, adrenal, testis, and penile cancer. He is also well versed in treating benign conditions such as ureteral strictures and benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). He takes pride in providing every patient and their families with exceptional care and support.
In his free time Dr. McMahon enjoys spending time with his family in the community he serves.

Throughout his career Dr. McMahon has published and presented at numerous academic conferences nationwide. In May 2024 he shared his expertise about treatment strategies for Advanced Prostate Cancer with other urologists in an online presentation for LUGPA.
Dr. McMahon is a MidLantic Urology Advanced Prostate Cancer Champion, specializing in the management and treatment of the disease. He is part of MidLantic Urology’s SpaceOAR Center of Excellence group. SpaceOAR Hydrogel is a rectal spacer that can be used in patients receiving radiation for prostate cancer to help minimize unwanted side effects.
