Guy Thomas Bernstein, M.D., FACS
Education and Background
Born in New Jersey, Dr. Bernstein received his undergraduate degree from Brown University, graduating magna cum laude. He earned his medical degree from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Columbia University where he graduated with honors and was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. He completed his internship and residency in general surgery at New York Hospital-Cornell University Medical Center. He obtained his specialty training in The Harvard Program in Urology - Brigham and Women’s Hospital - Boston Children’s Hospital.
He is vice chairman of the Main Line Hospitals Institutional Review Board, vice president of the Sharpe-Strumia Research Foundation of Bryn Mawr Hospital, and has been principal investigator in many clinical trials over the past two decades.
Dr. Bernstein is MidLantic Urology’s first Chief Medical Officer.
