Education and Background

Dr. Bergmann earned his undergraduate degree from Brandeis University and his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. He then completed general surgical training and a fellowship in transplantation at University of Connecticut Affiliated Hospitals. He went on to complete his urology residency at the University of Connecticut. He is a member of the teaching staff of The Thomas Jefferson University School of Medicine and is actively involved in residency training.

Dr. Bergmann is certified by the American Board of Urology and is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is a member of the American College of Surgeons, the American Urologic Association Mid-Atlantic Section, the Pennsylvania Medical Society, and the Montgomery County Medical Society. 

He has been named a Top Doc by Philadelphia Magazine for 12 consecutive years and has published and presented numerous scientific and urological articles.
