Martin Hightower, M.D.
Education and Background
Dr. Hightower obtained his undergraduate and medical degrees at Louisiana State University Baton Rouge. He completed a surgical internship at Temple University. His residency was completed at Albert Einstein which included being selected chief resident in 1990.
Dr. Hightower joined the Radiation Oncology Department at Grand View Hospital in 1991 becoming the medical director in 1993. There he modernized the department by starting programs of 3-dimensional planning, intensity modulated radiation and stereotactic radiosurgery.
With his emphasis on prostate cancer, he remains on staff at Philadelphia CyberKnife as well as Fox Chase Cancer Center in Buckingham, PA where he chaired the radiation oncology division.
