Pankaj Kalra, M.D.
Education and Background
Dr. Kalra graduated from the University of Maryland with a degree in electrical engineering and received his medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia. He completed his surgical internship and urology residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago. He subsequently completed an accredited fellowship in minimally invasive surgery at Thomas Jefferson University.
Dr. Kalra is the director of robotic surgery at Phoenixville Hospital. He is one of the first surgeons to perform robotic prostatectomy in the region and has performed over 700 robotic procedures. He performs a range of minimally invasive surgeries including bladder and prostate removal, nephrectomy, partial nephrectomy, urinary tract reconstruction, as well as advanced endoscopic and percutaneous removal of complex kidney stones.
He was recently awarded accreditation from the Surgical Review Corporation’s Robotic Center of Excellence.
