Tanya received an Associate of Science in Nursing degree from Hahnemann University in 1995, and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from West Chester University in 2016. She graduated with a Master of Science in Nursing: Family Nurse Practitioner degree from Drexel University in 2023.
Before joining MidLantic Urology, Tanya worked at Main Line Health Riddle Hospital in the following positions:
- Registered nurse in the Cardiac Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology
- Registered nurse in Telemetry
- Interim Director Nursing in the Transitional Care Center
- Registered nurse in the Med/Surg, Ortho and TCC unit

Tanya received a West Chester University RN to BSN Scholarship and a Great Catch Award for Patient Safety and Quality during her schooling.
