Bladder Problems? You’re Not Alone.

It may be uncomfortable to talk about your bladder problems, but doing so is the first step to effective treatment. To recognize Bladder Health Awareness Month in November, we want you to know your problems are not only treatable, many of them are common!
- About 1 in 10 Americans suffer from an overactive bladder. The sudden and frequent urge to urinate can be frustrating and disruptive to many aspects of your daily life.
- One in two women age 65+ are impacted by stress urinary incontinence. There’s nothing funny about leaking when you laugh, sneeze, cough, or exercise. Learn about your many treatment options.
- Bladder cancer is the sixth most common cancer in the U.S. It’s highly treatable when caught early. Learn about bladder cancer symptoms and next steps.
- About 1-4 million men, and 3-8 million women have symptoms of interstitial cystitis (painful bladder syndrome). If you have bladder pain that lasts more than six weeks, talk to your doctor – it could be interstitial cystitis.
Every day our experienced providers consult with patients suffering from bladder control problems. Once we uncover the cause of the problem, we carefully discuss each treatment option to find the one that’s right for you. Nearly all bladder problems are treatable, that’s why we won’t give up until your problem is resolved and your quality of life is restored.
With more than 40 locations in Southeast Pennsylvania, we have an office nearby. Find the location that’s best for you.
ZERO Prostate Cancer is Our Goal
Our heartfelt thanks to the many MidLantic Urology patients, staff, physicians, and family members who enthusiastically gathered on Oct. 5 for the annual ZERO Prostate Cancer Walk/Run at Wilson Farm Park in Wayne. Our shared goal: To support and celebrate the amazing men who are fighting or have fought this disease. One in eight fathers, sons, husbands, brothers, partners, and friends will be diagnosed in their lifetime.

Year-End Healthcare Reminder
Imagine a new year without the worries of an overactive bladder, enlarged prostate, or a weak pelvic floor. If you’ve met your yearly deductible for health insurance, now is a good time to schedule those treatments you may have been putting off. Review your plan details to be sure you’ve met your annual deductible, and to confirm it resets on January 1, 2026.
Do you need to spend your FSA account before the end of the year? Consider prioritizing your sexual wellness with shockwave therapy for erectile dysfunction (called eWave) or vaginal rejuvenation, which treats vaginal dryness and painful intercourse. These out-of-pocket treatments can give you the confidence and passion to live your best life in 2026. Make an appointment with your provider to learn more.
Retiring Providers, We Thank You
We want to extend our gratitude and warmest wishes to the following long-time providers who will be retiring at the end of 2025.
Thank you to Dennis Braun, M.D., from our East Norriton office; Michael Chuisano, D.O., from our Jennersville – West Grove office; and David J. Ellis, M.D., from our Bryn Mawr (Conestoga Rd.) office. Dr. Ellis will continue to perform some prostate fusion biopsies, but will be retiring from his day-to-day practice at the office.
We wish each of you the best in your retirement!
If you typically see one of these providers, give their office a call and we will introduce you to a new provider.
